The TEV Architecture

An emotional and caring animation to introduce a revolutionary new concept.

The TEV, or ‘Tracked Electrical Vehicle’ system is the brain child of inventor and successful businessman Will Jones. The idea behind the world revolutionary transport system is to take a standard car and with very little modification, convert it for use on the completely automated, emission free, electric TEV track.

The concept for the animation was to introduce the track in 2 seamless stages. Firstly, we see a prototype track section come together in a visually appealing and balletic manner; then secondly, we seamlessly begin a slow, soft pan backwards to reveal the track in a beautiful rural environment and demonstrate how the track has no detrimental impact on the world around it either visually or environmentally.

Notably for this project, I designed and modelled the first ever look at the TEV track, using a mixture of modern architectural examples of bridges and transport structures from around the world.
