I was absolutely honoured when I was asked to contribute my time to produce a 30 second ITV advert for ZSL London Zoo to run nationally to try and generate funds after a terrible year due to the covid outbreak.
The project, sponsored by Polymateria, really was a joy to produce. I had lots of amazing footage to work with which made my job so easy.
We originally had Sir David Attenborough on board for the voice over, as he has recorded several already for London Zoo, but due to scheduling conflicts (Sir Attenborough had a documentary running on BBC One at the time called ‘Extinction: The Facts’) we had to find another talent.
Regardless, the advert turned out fabulously and I’m looking forward to reading about the generosity of the great British public. As I write this, the advert is still playing nationally, but if you don’t catch the ad, and you want to donate, you can by texting ZSL 10 to 70500, to donate £10.
